- Starting October 2009, the Human Resources Services Center will be answering University ADA Services main phone line (540) 231-4638. The customer service representative will provide basic information about ADA Services and the accommodation process. ADA will maintain its same phone/fax numbers and physical location at 148 Southgate Center throughout the fall.
- The Department of Veterans Affairs launched a pilot online chat Service, in partnership with Lifeline. The Veterans Chat Service is located at the VA National Suicide Prevention Hotline. For more information please read:

- Parking: When visiting Virginia Tech, you will need to obtain a Visitor’s Parking Pass from the Visitor Information Center, located on Southgate Drive Visitors Information Center. They can be contacted on (540) 231-3548 or via email to welcome@vt.edu.
- Parents’ Weekend: Each October, Parent’s Weekend is held. During this time, there is an Open House at the Assistive Technology Lab, located at 1180 Torgersen Hall.
